  • Mark your calendar for the next Community Summit, August 2nd at the Tony Aguirre Community Center. Join us for a hands-on interactive workshop that will help you and your fellow community members build a model of what your ideal neighborhood could look like. Bring your memories, ideas, and experiences.

  • New Project Manager

    We’re also excited to introduce our new Project Manager, Selina Zapata Bur! Selina brings deep knowledge of the Westside through her previous work with the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC). She also serves on the board of the Mattie Rhodes Center. Please join us in welcoming Selina to the project!

    We’ve heard a lot of great questions about how to differentiate between all the exciting projects happening in the Westside. While we are still gathering data for the Reconnecting the Westside study, you can learn more about other efforts like the Southwest Boulevard Transportation Plan and the Westside Choice Neighborhood Project.
